Dear Diary

I had a wonderful experience during my last week's Rishikesh visit. I had heard a lot about the rapids in the Ganga there and wanted to see them first hand. After a long wait, when my father told me that we were going to Rishikesh, I was on cloud nine! I kept on wondering about the activities we would participate in there. My excitement was doubled when my cousins also agreed to go with me.

I was so impatient and wanted to leave for Rishikesh as soon as possible. On arrival, I was fascinate by the beauty of the hills. The clear and cold water of the river enthralled me.

We did river rafting as planned. It was fabulous and I have pictures to prove it. After three hours of rafting we returned to our hotel, totally tired out. Though I had been scared at times, it was a jaw dropping experience altogether. I had mixed feelings when we left for home. I was excited to return but I didn't want this holiday to come to an end.
